Who we are

Global Health is a UK-based manufacturer of healthcare products, supplying medical-grade PPE, wound care and compression products to the NHS and to healthcare providers across the UK and Europe. Value for money, supply chain resilience, social value, quality assurance and sustainability are at the core of our operations.

We manufacture and supply essential products — medical face masks, compression and wound care bandages, wound dressings and anti-embolism stockings — from two facilities in Milton Keynes and Harlow, supported by strategically located warehouses in Europe. The company is registered in England and Wales as Global Health and Safety Ltd.

Manufacturing and supply

As one of the larger surgical face mask manufacturers in the UK and Europe, we have a production capacity of up to 1.3 billion masks per year. Local production and stock-holding support fast 24–48 hour deliveries to UK warehouses, and our critical raw materials are sourced from reputable manufacturers in the UK and Europe.

Global Health holds framework contracts with NHS Supply Chain, Scotland Excel and Kent Council, and our products are trusted across NHS Trusts.

Quality and compliance

Our products are CE and UKCA marked and manufactured as Medical Device Class I, in line with the relevant British Standards: BS EN 14683 for surgical face masks, BS 7505 for compression and support bandages, BS 661210 for anti-embolism stockings, and BS EN 13726-1 for wound dressings.

Our risk management approach is aligned with the principles of ISO 31000, and we operate business continuity management practices to maintain supply during disruption.

Sustainability

We are committed to reducing our environmental impact. We hold ISO 14001:2015 environmental management certification, source critical materials within the UK and Europe to reduce transport emissions, and have published a Carbon Reduction Plan setting out our path to Net Zero by 2050.

We are also a Living Wage Employer and a Disability Confident (Committed) employer.
